In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increase of mental strain it has put on communities, Northern Bridge Community Partnership has facilitated the education of 22 youth in a suicide prevention program, LivingWorks Start.

In the summer of 2022, Northern Bridge Community Partnership hired 6 indigenous youth to work in their home communities helping with community service work, such as preparing food hampers for those who were self-isolating, drawing clean water for Elders and repairing houses that needed to be restored.

The Program Director is responsible for the implementation of these significant programs. This role enables us to build on current programs and develop new ways of building relational bridges between the north and the south, especially with the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Program Director is constantly communicating with local leaders to ensure that the current programs are relevant and ensure community participation. Including salary, travel, insurance, and program materials, the annual cost to fund this position is more than $100,000.

The Fundraising Goal for Program Development is $100,000 per year.
